In celebration of National Poetry month, on Tuesday, April 17 at 5:30 p.m., The Venue will host a poetry reading of the original and favorite poems by some of Bloomington’s finest poets. In the hands of these able writers, poetry is truly an art.

Come see your beloved cinema classic take the stage! This production of The Wizard of Oz brings along all of the old favorites while weaving in new songs from Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, as they journey through the magical Land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their hearts’ desires!

Chris Wolf is funny … really funny. He’ll be sharing his amazing songs with newcomers to the Showcase: Zach Craft & Jeff Byrd. We look forward to hearing them for the first time!
