Jon & his brother are known as ‘The Knot Brothers’ in the Indy area. Knot showed up at one of our Open Guest Mics a few weeks ago, and was so much fun, and so talented that we had to invite him to take a full Feature Songwriter spot! We think he’ll be a welcome addition to the Showcase. Come see why!
dwBrykalski – aka David Weirhake (www.facebook.com/dw.Brykalski) has been performing on the Showcase for almost ten years. Talk about a versatile person! David is an actor, a gardener, a teacher, a great cook, and a singer-songwriter! Usually showing up in wearing his father’s cowboy hat – and singing songs with themes that mean something to him. dwBrykalski is a storyteller – setting his life experience to music. Please come and enjoy his big personality and his music.
Rounding out our program this evening is a fellow who has stolen our hearts. With extreme talent and a personality that brings light into the room is Greg Mahan (www.GregMahan.com). His smile (ever-present) is only out-shined by his exceptional ability on guitar & enjoyable voice. Mahan is one of the finest finger-pickers we’ve had the pleasure to present. His songs tend to be ‘up’ songs – which would be expected from this wonderful singer-songwriter. Greg has developed a loyal following here in Bloomington – and he drives from the Cincinnati area to be with us. We can’t thank him enough. He’s not doing it for the money, he is a talent who performs for the love of the song and his audience picks up on that.
