Solarize Bloomington Information Sessions

Because of the high volume of interest in the Solarize Bloomington campaign, SIREN and the City of Bloomington have added two additional Information Sessions:
August 17 @ 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Ellettsville branch of the Monroe County Library, 600 W. Temperance St.
August 26 @ 10 am – 11:30 am in Bloomington City Hall, City Council Chambers, 401 N. Morton St.
These dates are in addition to previously scheduled sessions already on the calendar:
August 10 @ noon – 1:30pm and August 22 @ 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Both these sessions will be held in Bloomington City Hall, City Council Chambers.

“JAM FEST and LIVE MUSIC”
Saturday, August 26, from 1-4 p.m.at the Hinkle-Garton Farmstead. Featuring a variety of seasonal jams and jellies for sampling and sale including mulberry, peach, sour cherry, and blackberry, as well as lilac, violet, basil and mint jellies. Maple syrup candies from the Indiana Maple Syrup Association will also be on hand. Live music hosted by Friday Musicale will include the McDonald Brothers and Friends. The American folk, country, and old-time gospel group will perform from 2pm to 3pm. Outside in the garden, a selection of native plants, trees and shrubs will also be available for purchase. The Farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and maintained by Bloomington Restorations, Inc. Free EVENT located at 2920 E. Tenth Street in Bloomington.

The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the school auditorium. All ages show.
