June Virtual Gallery Walk Arts Experience
Gallery Walk Bloomington is excited to announce our second Virtual First Friday event. Join us for our June 5th First Friday Arts Experience to meet the folks behind some of Bloomington’s longest-running galleries — Pictura Gallery at FAR Center for Contemporary Arts, The Venue Fine Art & Gifts, and By Hand Gallery.

Meet us on our Gallery Walk Bloomington Facebook page on Friday, June 5 at 5pm for a live discussion to hear from gallerists Martha Moore (Pictura), Gabe Colman (The Venue) and Suzanne Halverson (By Hand Gallery). They’ll share their experiences as gallerists, how they connect with artists, what the life of their gallery looks like during the pandemic, and more. Erin Tobey from Rainbow Bakery will host and moderate, and we’ll be taking questions from you in the comments! If you’re not able to join us live, the video will be available on our Facebook page after the broadcast.
Even though our gallery doors are closed, you can stay engaged with our vibrant arts community on First Friday. Be sure to join our #firstfridaychallenge by dressing up for a “virtual night on the town.” Take a photo of with your favorite beverage in hand and post on Facebook/Instagram with the hashtag #firstfridaychallenge. Spread the word…tell your friends and family to join the fun!
