Overcoming Stress & Anxiety

01:00 pm to 03:30 pm
Kadampa Meditation Center Bloomington, 406 S. Walnut St.

We live in a fast-paced, busy, and challenging modern world. Typically, we respond to the daily problems that arise with frustration, stress, and anxiety, but this response actually makes our problems worse. If we learn to respond with acceptance instead of rejecting the situation, then we can start to understand the underlying causes of stress and anxiety. Through the practice of meditation and the practical application of Buddha’s teachings, we can learn to skillfully address these causes, reduce our stress and anxiety, and begin to really enjoy our lives!

Cost: $15 for pre-registration; $20 at the door; student rate is $10
