The Grunwald Gallery at Indiana University Bloomington is pleased to present this year’s MFA Thesis Exhibitions. These exhibitions feature work created by graduating Master of Fine Arts students in the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture + Design at Indiana University and represent the culmination of each student’s graduate research in the arts.

MFA Group 1 features the work of Andy Bullard (Painting), Seth Cook (Photography), Jessica Gendron (Printmaking), Caroline Gerberick (Fibers), Blake O’Brien (Painting), Lee Oliver (Digital Arts) and AJ O’Reilly (Graphic Design).

New and beginning in March 2020: Animal Hour. This recurring weekly program encourages visitors to meet the WonderLab Animal Ambassadors in live, facilitated interactions. Who might you meet this week? Come and see! Maybe a bearded dragon or Mooch, the blue tongued skink. Possibly you’ll have a chance to pet a Madagascar hissing cockroach or corn snake. Visitors will be able to get up close and ask questions. Weekly topics will rotate and might include: the biology, behavior and natural homes of each Ambassadors; how WonderLab cares for each animal as well as their unique background stories.

The Be More Awards is our community’s way of honoring and applauding the outstanding, but often unrecognized efforts of our community volunteers.

Ten awards will be presented during the community celebration honoring all of the nominees at the event (Tuesday, March 31, 2020) at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater.

A $500 check will be presented to each of the recipient’s volunteer organizations in honor of their outstanding service.
