Come celebrate and inspire curiosity with us! Over 20 departments and schools are excited to have you on campus with us exploring our labs, classrooms, observatories, and lecture halls. Get ready to have fun with science! Join us for the 6th annual Science Fest — free and open to the public.

Jill Behrman was an IU student and an employee of Recreational Sports. In May 2000, Jill left for a solo bike ride and never came back. Three years later, it was discovered that she had been murdered. In October 2000, the JB5K was created to keep the memory of Jill alive and to bring awareness to issues of violence in our community. Proceeds from the JB5K IU Color the Campus Walk/Run benefit the Jill Behrman Emerging Leader Scholarship, personal safety workshops and other Recreational Sports programs on campus throughout the year. The JB5K is a non-competitive walk/run through the Indiana University campus with photo opportunities and entertainment along the way.
The JB5K begins and ends at the Student Recreational Sports Center.
Onsite registration on the day of the event starts at 9:30AM in the SRSC Lobby, with the walk/run beginning at 11:00AM. Warm-ups begin at 10:00AM; food, dancing and more color follow the walk/run.
IU parking is NOT ticketed during this event.
Bursar billing is available for current IU students.
The color powder consists of eco-friendly cornstarch and food grade coloring.
Open to the community; children and pets are NOT allowed.

When a girl named Fern saves a little pig named Wilbur, she opens the door to a world of friendship and adventure. Together, with the help of the wise Charlotte, the Gander, the Goslings, and even the sneaky Templeton, Wilbur and Fern show the farm and the world just how extraordinary an ordinary pig can be!

Fall has arrived and pumpkins are flying through the skies over the Monroe County Fairgrounds! Launcher teams send pumpkins soaring through the air in competitions for accuracy and distance. Get a team together to build and enter a pumpkin launching device! Not a builder? Not to worry! Watch pumpkins fly through the air during the competitions, and see them splatter to the ground when we drop them from a bucket truck. There is plenty more to do and see at the Pumpkin Launch, including a children’s area with fall and science-related activities by WonderLab, live music, food vendors, and the festive feel of fall. Bring a lawn chair, sit back, and be amazed by launch device ingenuity!

WonderLab Museum After Dark: Over the Rainbow is a 21+ science pride party thrown by WonderLab Museum and Bloomington Pride. Head to WonderLab Saturday, October 26 from 6 -9 p.m. for hands-on science activities, music, local food/drinks, and science demos. Learn more about the science behind rainbows, LGBTQ+ pioneers in STEM, and more! Costumes encouraged!

non-scary event will be enjoyed by the very young and the very young at heart! Both an outdoor event in tents and an indoor event at our studio and rehearsal space in Artisan Alley, join us both for performances and Halloween fun – bobbing for apples, Halloween crafts, and more!

Skate through our haunted house on ice to the sounds of spooky tunes. Come in costume for a chance to win prizes.
