05:00 pm to 08:00 pm
Mills Pool
https://bloomington.in.gov/recreation/programs/10440

Mills Pool is closed for humans, but is open for two more days for swimming for your canine friends. The first evening features dog paddling fun and a jumping contest. The second evening is filled with a variety of entertaining contests and more swimming. A quick draw caricaturist will be at the event both nights and various pet-related businesses and organizations will be on hand during the second night only. Dog guards are on duty to supervise any dogs gone wild. Both the shallow play area and the main pool are open for all dogs to enjoy; the deep end is closed.

*All leashed, non-aggressive, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

*Humans are not allowed to swim during Drool in the Pool.

*Help us keep the water clean. Prior to the event engage your dog in a high-energy activity to avoid feces in the water.

*Dogs must be spayed or neutered.

*Dogs are required to be at least six months of age.

*No retractable leads.

*We reserve the right to dismiss any dog for unruly activity and/or aggressive behavior. OWNERS MUST PROVIDE WRITTEN PROOF FROM A VETERINARIAN SHOWING THEIR DOG’S CURRENT RABIES VACCINATION TO ATTEND. Indiana law requires that the rabies vaccination tag be worn at all times. All dogs will be checked on site by City of Bloomington Animal Control. Dogs without written proof of current rabies vaccination will not be allowed in the event. A rabies tag alone is not sufficient! Maximum one dog per person. To move faster through admissions, download and complete a registration form from our website prior to the event. Registration forms available July 2.

Cost: $5 per dog
