It’s Maple Syrup Season at the Farmstead

Bloomington Restorations, Inc. invites you to the monthly opening of the Hinkle-Garton Farmstead on Saturday, January 25, 2014, from 1-4 p.m. Come watch the tapping of the historic Sugar Maple trees and learn a bit about the sugaring process. Inside the 1892 main farmhouse, take in the new exhibit focusing on the history of Indiana Maple Syrup and enjoy refreshments made with maple syrup and persimmons. The Farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is headquarters of Bloomington Restorations, Inc. It is free and open to the public and is located at 2920 E.
