Spend an evening at the Retro in Clay exhibition with Mid-Century ceramics experts, Ann Martz and Craig McCormick! This is a rare opportunity to learn about the legacy of Marshall Studios from our renowned guest speakers. Ann Martz is a direct descendant of the founder of Marshall Studios, while Craig McCormick founded marshallstudios.net!

Ann Martz is the daughter of Jane Marshall-Martz and Gordon Martz. Her parents were famous for creating ceramics through the family-run Marshall Studios Inc. Ann worked for her father as a ceramic designer and mold-maker. Ann’s great-grandmother, Jessie Talbott Marshall, was the founder of Marshall Studios Inc. Marshall Studios Inc. has gained a large following of fans from around the world for their craftsmanship and legacy.

Craig McCormick is an architect, photographer and design enthusiast based in Indianapolis. He has served on the board of the Design Arts Society at the Indianapolis Museum of Art as well as numerous community arts organizations in Indianapolis. In 2006, Craig launched MarshallStudios.net, a web archive dedicated to preserving the history of Marshall Studios and the work of Jane Marshall-Martz and Gordon Martz of Veedersburg, Indiana.
