Self Acceptance: Overcoming Guilt and Blame

06:30 pm to 06:30 pm
Kadampa Meditation Center Bloomington, 406 S. Walnut St.
http://www.meditationinbloomington.org

The way in which we relate to our self affects every area of our life. We all make mistakes and typically everyone understands feeling hurt from painful experiences. However, when we hang on to those mistakes and never forget the hurt, feelings of guilt, blame, and resentment can become heavy emotional baggage that we carry with us throughout our entire life.

Through Buddha’s practical teachings and meditation techniques, we can learn how to gradually free ourselves from guilt, blame, and other painful feelings and move forward with confidence.
In this way, we can gain a positive self view and the ability to be strong and happy regardless of life’s challenges and what others may think of us.

Each class includes guided meditations, a talk, and discussion questions and answers. Everyone is welcome. No experience is necessary. Enjoy the entire series or drop-in to any class.
