Brief Bios:
Peter Bailey is a graduate of Oxford and the University of British Columbia, an affiliate professor in the History Department at IU, and an author. Peter was a consultant and presenter for BBC Television and enjoyed a secondary career as a stage actor in Winnipeg. He has continued with his ongoing career as a jazz pianist in various venues in Bloomington.

Multi-instrumentalist, Opal Fly is a Kentucky-born singer/songwriter whose music is firmly rooted in tradition, yet her style transcends established genres. She first honed her talent playing on the streets of New Orleans; and is a two-time NWAMA Songwriter of the Year. She teamed up with Mark Buschkill, Donn Middleton, and Sam Finley to create “Opal Fly and KaPow!” Michael Johnathan, the host of Woodsongs Old-Time Radio Hour, said this of Opal, “…one of the most amazing voices in Blues.”

In 2017, Opal met Peter, and the rest, as they say, is history! Their jazz cabaret duo, Swoon & Croon delights audiences wherever they play.

Juniper is currently observing seasonal winter hours
