Did you know that you can get solar power for less than you’re paying now for your electric bill? Customers of Duke Energy can benefit from net metering until year 2032. All customers, whether they’re with Duke or REMC, can receive a 26 percent federal tax credit on their solar purchase in 2020.
Learn about the performance, cost and incentives for solar energy systems from Solar Indiana Renewable Energy Network volunteers in an interactive Zoom meeting.
The Solarize program is open to residential, commercial and nonprofit property owners in Monroe and nearby counties.

Theatrical Teaching in a Digital World

Cardinal Stage presents a FREE workshop series on Theatrical Teaching. This 3-part series connects the broad values of theater to educational approaches and is designed for primary and secondary educators. Participants will learn from colleagues in the field who use theatrical techniques and apply theatrical teaching ideas to their own practice. Active engagement, collegiality and peer sharing are at the heart of each session. Participants will leave each session with new ideas and strategies that they can implement in their classroom – whether online or in person.

-This workshop series is free for all educators! Enrollment in all three sessions is encouraged.
-Professional Growth Points available. (1.5 hours per workshop)
-This is an interactive workshop and all attendees will need a computer with a camera and microphone to participate fully.
-Cardinal Stage will be conducting participant surveys throughout the workshop series to get feedback and measure impact of this program.

Amethyst House is excited to present “The Reunion” for our 8th Annual Benefit Concert. This reunion will include some favorite musicians who participated in the past 7 Benefit Concerts for Amethyst House. Artists who are performing in this year’s virtual concert will include Greg Brown, Rory Block, Anders Osborne, Tim Grimm, Jason Ricci and Kaitlin Dibble, Busman’s Holiday and Charlie Jesseph.
