5th Annual Monroe County Childhood Conditions Summit

10:00 am to 03:00 pm
Virtual; Zoom Link provided with registration
http://www.btccbloomington.org/mc3-summit-2020/

For the last four years, Youth Services Bureau of Monroe County and Building a Thriving Compassionate Community (BTCC) have engaged approximately 200 community members annually for the Monroe County Childhood Conditions Summit (MC3). Our original theme of “what surrounds us shapes us,” was grounded in the understanding that children are shaped by the relationships they have, the neighborhoods they live in, the places they learn and play, and the community organizations that serve them. The 2020 MC3 Summit will revisit our original topic and explore conditions surrounding equity, trauma and advocacy in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. As we continue to build thriving compassionate communities, we know we must widen our focus from individual youth and families to the conditions that frame our lives. To meet current community needs, we are excited to share that this year’s summit will be free of cost. *CEUs are available for selected sessions. For more information, including session descriptions and registration details, visit: http://www.btccbloomington.org/mc3-summit-2020/. Register at https://tinyurl.com/y8ug2h2t. Registration is open until October 23rd.
