Buskirk-Chumley Theater

Where were you in 62’? Dial back to the end of summer in 1962 when drag racing, drive-ins and cruisin’ the strip were the rage. This coming-of-age tale follows four teenagers on their last night in a small California town before college. Through a series of vignettes, each character wrestles with impending adulthood and loss of innocence. A rocking soundtrack and star-studded cast earned the film five Oscar nominations.

Love the cars featured in the film? The Monroe County History Center will be hosting a classic car show and competition noon to 4pm on the same day. The show is free to spectators and can be accessed off Lincoln Street across from the Monroe County Public Library. Winners will be announced at 3:30pm and winners will be invited to park their cars in front of the Buskirk-Chumley during our screening, creating some boss photo ops.

As with all BCT movie screenings, costumes are encouraged! Doors will open at 5:30pm.

Tickets may be purchased by phone or in person at the BCT Box Office or online at bctboxoffice.com

Cost: $3 - $5
