Art Lunch Open House: OMNI

Columbus Museum of Art & Design (CMAD) invites the public to its second installment of Art Lunch Open House for the exhibition OMNI, a juried group exhibition of contemporary necklaces and brooches. This open house will feature two artists from the exhibition, Zachary Mellman-Carsey and Joshua Kosker. Zachary Mellman-Carsey will demonstrate his methodology and discuss his practice as a jeweler utilizing 3D print technology. Joshua Kosker will have a pop-up display of an interactive piece from a series called [re}embody. OMNI is currently being shown on the second floor of The Commons in the display cases. Soup, bread and cookies will be provided to attendees at no cost on a first come, first served basis.

About the Artists:

Joshua Kosker is an artist currently living and working in western Pennsylvania. A recipient of the Ethical Metalsmiths Emerging Artist Award in 2014, Kosker earned his MFA in Jewelry and Metalsmithing from Bowling Green State University and his BFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Zachary Mellman-Carsey is currently an MFA candidate at in the Metals & Jewelry Design program at Indiana University, Bloomington. He holds a BFA from Bowling Green State University.
