Champions of 1919 Anniversary Reception

05:30 pm to 07:00 pm
Monroe County History Center, 202 E 6th Street
http://www.monroehistory.org

The players of the 1918-1919 Bloomington High School team left Lafayette on March 15th, 1919, as state champions. Often undersized and out-skilled, the speed of the “Little Giants” defeated five teams in three days. After outscoring the host school Lafayette 18-15 in the final, the BHS team cemented their place in Monroe County history.

A special presentation about this historic season by Roger F. Robison will begin at 6 pm.

Cost: Free
