For Gallery Walk, Weather Forecast, Paintings by Monique Cagle at The Venue

05:00 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts
http://www.thevenuebloomington.com

On Friday, May 6th, for Gallery Walk, beginning at 5:00p.m. The Venue will host an exhibition of all new paintings by Monique Cagle. Heir apparent to the great tradition of Indiana Artists, Monique captures the grandeur and variety of our skies, fields, and forests, both day and night. Monique’s unique color palate, brush work, and subject matter bring to mind the words of Randy Newman, “feels like home to me.” And in some of them you will find a cat, of course, just because this is Monique.
Because this is also graduation weekend at Indiana University, the Venue is featuring objects de art, carefully selected as graduation gifts, ranging from locally hand crafted pens, to prints and paintings of iconic I.U. scenes, all of which will remind of wonderful times spent in Bloomington. The quality and price range of our selection is terrific.
And finally, as is always the case for Gallery Walk at The Venue, we will serve wonderful gourmet soup and other refreshments, all free.
Such a Deal! Join us.

Cost: free
