Sharing personal reflections of his upbringing and family life in the Arkansas Delta, Charlie Nelms tells his story of growing up in the Deep South and raising to success as the youngest and first African American chancellor of a predominantly white institution in Indiana. From Cotton Fields to University Leadership: All Eyes on Charlie, A Memoir is an uplifting story about the power of education, the impact of community and mentorship, and the importance of dreaming big.
