Locks of Love Donation Event

12:00 pm to 07:00 pm
Mardon Salon 124 E Kirkwood Ave, Bloomington, IN

Locks of Love is an organization that collects human hair, 10″ or longer to make free wigs for children without hair. We are having a Locks of Love event in Bloomington IN. There will be a registration day at the South Lobby of Assemble Hall from noon-5 pm on Valentines day to get an estimate of people wanting to donate as well as to answer any questions. The actual donation event will be held at Mardon Salon (who has agreed to cut hair for free for those donating their locks) on Kirkwood on March 28th from noon-7 pm.
—Financial donations will also be accepted at the event!
Be thankful for your health and help those who are not as fortunate!

Cost: free hair cuts for those donating their locks!

An Important Message from Bloom Magazine

For the past 14 years, we have been publishing Bloom, a free, bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine serving Bloomington, Indiana, and surrounding communities. We have four missions: to support local businesses, local charities, local arts, and diversity. We are an integral part of the fabric of this community.

Like so many small businesses (4 employees), we are facing huge challenges in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to be able to continue producing the magazine and our website, magbloom.com, but we need your help.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe drive using the link below. Thank you!
