May Museum Open Day at Bloomington’s Farmstread

The day will feature music by members of Friday Musicale in the parlor of the 1892 Queen Anne main house a the Hinkle-Garton farmstead. On exhibit is “Harvesting at the Farmstead,” a collection of small farm implements both donated and original to the site along with photographs and diagrams explaining their use. Visitors may also walk the gardens and grounds. Jams, jellies and preserves produced on site by volunteers will be available for purchase. The Farmstead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned and maintained by Bloomington Restorations, Inc.
