The League of Women Voters of Bloomington-Monroe County joined by the NAACP, UU Church Racial Justice Task Force, Monroe County Women’s Commission, and Trinity Episcopal Church, is offering a screening of the documentary UnCivil War: U.S. Elections under Siege. It was directed by Indiana native Tom Glynn. In exposing threats to free and fair elections, it includes a segment on Indiana’s fight for redistricting reform, featuring interviews with Common Cause’s Julia Vaughn and Debbie Asberry of the Indiana League of Women Voters. It will be followed by a Q&A session with Nicole Browne, Monroe County Clerk; Hal Turner, Monroe County Election Board Chair; and Mary Ann Williams, League of Women Voters. Julia Vaughn will join the discussion and will share what Hoosiers can expect from Indiana’s redistricting approach in 2021 and how to support a fair and transparent process.

Cost: Free and open to the public
