Critically acclaimed and award winning songwriter and performer, Jason Isbell, will top the bill for this year’s Amethyst House Benefit Concert. Isbell is the winner of the Americana Music Association 2012 Song of the Year [“Alabama Pines”]. His latest CD, “Southeastern,” has been named Album of the Year by American Songwriter. His wife Amanda Shires will open the show and also accompany him throughout the evening on fiddle and background vocals.

“We’re honored to have an artist of his caliber performing this year,” says Amethyst House Board President Mike Long. ”He’s a great fit because he’s also in recovery and his songs tell a redemptive story that many of us can relate to.”
