Orientation to ‘Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction’: Training in Meditation

Learn how this class will help you cultivate new ways of meeting the stress in your life—including the ability to embrace the life you have now—through meditation, gentle mindful yoga movements, and other mindfulness practices. Course includes recordings and materials for home practice.
Facilitated by LINDA F. BROWN, PHD, HSPP : Clinical psychologist and adjunct Health Psychology instructor at Indiana University. Dr.Brown has participated in pro-fessional training at the Center For Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical Center. The program was originally developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn.

Classes will be held Mondays February 11 – April 1, 2013 (8 weeks) Time: 6:30– 9:00 p.m.

Note: This is a secular class sponsored by the facilitator and is not affiliated with any organization. The program is supported solely by the tuition.

Cost: TUITION is on a sliding scale: $400, $300 and 200 for students and seniors. See website for complete info.
