On Wednesdays in October, Stone Belt and LIFEDesigns will hold the second annual Job-A-Palooza via Zoom. The weekly event will help facilitate networking between employers and individuals with disabilities.
The workshops, which will be held from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., will give a sneak peek into the daily operations and work requirements of local businesses. Workshop attendees will then have the opportunity to ask questions about employment qualifications and workplace operations.
Job-A-Palooza is free but limited to 100 participants per week. To reserve a spot, register at www.stonebelt.org.
Stone Belt, a nonprofit agency that empowers and supports more than 1,400 individuals with disabilities, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2019.
With more than 220 employees, LIFEDesigns provides staff supports that assist individuals with disabilities in living, working, and socializing independently.
