A new light shines through the night on Bloomington’s west side—the outdoor sign at Dunn’s RevSports, 2479 West Industrial Park Drive, a 14,000-square-foot facility selling parts and services for cars, SUVs, motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs.

Mervin and Patricia Dunn, their son, Andrew, and his wife, Laura, came to Bloomington from California last year to live near family. Dunn’s, which opened on July 10, is owned by all four.

“We’ve been in this business for decades,” General Manager Laura says, “and it’s something we’re extremely passionate about. We saw an opportunity here to provide a service that was not available nearby.”

The family bought the former RevSport business and building in March. They then gutted the building, redecorated the interior, renovated the offices, added a garage bay, moved half a million dollars’ worth of equipment in, and expanded the parking lot.

The 10,000-square-foot showroom offers tires, bead- lock and street wheels, lift and leveling kits, racing and regular suspensions, rooftop tents and accessories, parts, apparel, motocross and motorcycle accessories, and ATV and UTV accessories. Dunn’s also sells directly to vehicle dealerships.

Brands include Fuel, Nitto, Cooper, XD, KMC, Rotiform, Asanti, Black Rhino, TSW, American Racing, ReadyLIFT, Thule, Strider, Corvette ZR1, Thor, Moose Racing, KTM, Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, and Kawasaki.

“We have options for about any vehicle you pull in here,” Laura says, “from an S-Class Mercedes to a lifted truck, or ‘Class to off-roads.’”

Dunn’s garage performs vehicle lifting and leveling, tire and wheel installation, alignment (including four- wheel), tire mounting and balancing, side-by-side racing suspension and brakes installation, accessory installation, oil changes, and general maintenance. The bays are equipped with a state-of-the-art lift, alignment, and tire-mounting and balancing technology from Hunter Engineering Company.

“We have a big selection, a clean shop, and good customer service,” says Andrew, president and CEO. “We not only sell our products, we also use them—and our services.” The Dunns are car rebuilders and collectors, racers, ATV and motorcycle riders, and Jeep drivers.
