Fundraiser Dinner for Fire support trip to Sierra Leone, Africa

06:00 pm to 09:00 pm

A team of City of Bloomington firefighters are heading to Sierra Leone, Africa. The group will train and support local firefighters to help decrease loss of life and property in areas with often devastating blazes.

How can you help? By grabbing a plate of Italian food.

Fire Chief Jason Moore is hosting a benefit dinner on Jan. 23 at DeAngelo’s Bloomington to raise money for the trip. Advanced tickets cost $25 per plate, and RSVPs are required. Donations are welcome and appreciated.

Cost: $25/$20

An Important Message from Bloom Magazine

For the past 14 years, we have been publishing Bloom, a free, bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine serving Bloomington, Indiana, and surrounding communities. We have four missions: to support local businesses, local charities, local arts, and diversity. We are an integral part of the fabric of this community.

Like so many small businesses (4 employees), we are facing huge challenges in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to be able to continue producing the magazine and our website, magbloom.com, but we need your help.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe drive using the link below. Thank you!
