The Brown County Art Guild is excited to present a two-month long exhibit featuring Maritime scenes. From tugs to tankers and seabirds to seashores, you’ll see historic works from our permanent collection as well as new work in a variety of mediums from Guild Artist Members with a focus on the one thing that connects every living organism on our planet- water! The human body is over 50% water and 70% of earth’s surface is covered in it. Indiana may be landlocked, but we’re turning our eyes towards the oceans this summer at the Brown County Art Guild.
Guild Artist Member Donna Shortt will kick things off with a Maritime painting demonstration on Sunday, July 1 from 12-2 pm.
Our second demonstration will be by Guild Artist Member Larry Rudolech. See Larry paint on Saturday, July 21 from 1-3pm.
Visitors can enjoy the Maritime exhibit starting July 1 through August 31, 2018.
Located in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Brown County Art Guild is located at 48 S. Van Buren Street. The scheduled demonstrations are free and open to the public. For more information, call 812-988-6185 or visit: www.browncountyartguild.org
