VOTES FOR WOMEN: The Women’s Suffrage Movement in Monroe County

The Monroe County History Center will be commemorating the centennial of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution granting women the right to vote with a year-long exhibition in the Deckard Education Room. The exhibit will feature Monroe County women involved in the struggle for suffrage in the context of the State and National suffrage movements based on the research of Hilary Fleck and supported by the May Wright Sewall Fellowship from Indiana Humanities.
