04:00 pm to 05:00 pm
Juniper Art Gallery, 46 E Market St, Spencer, IN 47460
http://www.juniperartgallery.com

This month, we will be reading House of the Singing Winds by Selma N. Steele.

First published in 1966, this book chronicles the life and work of T. C. Steele, one of Indiana’s most renowned turn of the 20th century impressionist painters. Steele was one of the earliest founders of the Brown County Artist Colony. Written by his wife, Selma, this book provides a firsthand look at their lives together, the challenges and their mutual love for the southern Indiana hills, which they both found to be their inspiration. The home is now an Indiana State Museum and Historical site.

Our readings focus on art, artists, art history and all things CREATIVE!
Facilitated by Bruce Smith, Ph.D (American History, Indiana University and University of Notre Dame)

Come have fun, get inspired, and learn more about our creative nature!

The Juniper Art Gallery Book Club meets the second Thursday monthly
In the Juniper Art Gallery Community Room
