City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) reports that some customers have not received their paper bill for water, wastewater, stormwater, and sanitation in the mail for the month of April. CBU is investigating the cause of the delay and will not charge any CBU customers a late fee this month.

Whether or not a customer has received a paper bill, CBU always offers multiple options for making a payment and receiving assistance:

  • Customers can pay their monthly bill by debit or credit card over the telephone by calling 812- 349-3930.
  • Customers can pay online at bloomington.in.gov/utilities/pay-bill with their username and password, which can be created by using the customer’s CBU account number. This is also where customers can view the amount owed and/or sign up for paperless statements.
  • Customers can pay by check or money order and mail or drop off payment, including account holder’s name and account number, at CBU’s new, secure drop box at 600 E. Miller Drive, Bloomington, IN 47401. Cash is also accepted at this drop box, although making change will not be an option, so any over- or underpayment will be reflected on the customer’s next CBU bill.

Customers who utilize Aquapay are not affected.

Connect with CBU at 812-349-3930 or utilities.cs@bloomington.in.gov Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.–5 p.m., or after hours at 812-339-1444. Follow CBU on Facebook, Nextdoor, or Twitter for the latest news.
