In honor of co-founder Audrey Heller, the Jewish Theatre of Bloomington (JTB) has announced a new fund dedicated to “supporting the long-term health and sustainability of the Jewish Theatre of Bloomington,” according to a press release.

In particular, the Audrey Heller Jewish Theatre of Bloomington Fund will support the salary of a new artistic director following Heller’s retirement as current producing artistic director within the next few years.

All donations will be matched up to $100,000 by a private donor.

The only Jewish theater in Indiana, JTB was founded in 2005 and produces two full-length productions each year. The organization has collaborated with other area theater companies like Cardinal Stage, Bloomington Playwrights Project, and Stages Bloomington.

Contributions can be made online here.
