MORE ABOUT THE MUSIC
Jason Wilber – A journeyman guitarist, singer, and songwriter, Jason Wilber has traveled the world as lead guitar player for artists like John Prine, Greg Brown, Iris DeMent, Todd Snider, and Hal Ketchum. In the insightful and sometimes humorous songs featured on his seven solo CDs he manages to meld his rock, folk, jazz, and country influences into a unique sound that’s been described as “Van Morrison meets Wilco”. From Carnegie Hall to Red Rocks to Massey Hall and the London Palladium, he’s performed in all 50 States, and all over Canada, Europe, and the UK. http://jasonwilber.com/

Jesse Lacy – touring DIY musician and founder of Jesse Lacy Artist Consulting, is known for his live performances that showcase his riff based guitar picking, melodic vocals, catchy songwriting, and storytelling. He is just beginning his career with one solo CD (First Steps, 2013), a new AAA / Folk single (Pack of Dogs, 2016), and several East Coast and Midwest tours under his belt. “Pack of Dogs” harks back to the restrained but elegant, whimsical but earnest themes of “Wildflowers” by Tom Petty. At times, you can also hear the influence of Glen Hansard and Iron & Wine. Features Dane Clark (John Mellencamp) and Sam Bartlett (All Things Considered), along with Sam Loeck (Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra) and Wade Van Orman. http://jesselacy.com/

The Exonerated

Wells-Metz Theatre

The Exonerated

By Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen

Directed by Liam Castellan,
2nd Year M.F.A. Directing candidate

The stories of six average Americans, wrongly accused of murder and put on death row, are told simultaneously, interwoven so the audience can see the similarities between all the exonerated victims. The play reveals a very disturbing pattern within our judicial system and invites us to examine the society in which justice is not served, where confessions are still gained through torture, threats and deception.

Performance dates include December 2, 3, 6-9, 2016 at 7:30 pm and December 10 @ 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Thank you Partner Level Associate Producers and Theatre Circle Members Caryl & Tom Bowers and Virginia & Michael Metzgers for supporting this production.
