Greg O’Haver (https://myspace.com/gregoryohave) is a traveling kinda troubadour, most recently – touring with the New Cristy Minstrels. O’Haver is an energetic songwriter, a darn good musician, but he’s also quite the Inventor, having developed a capo that gives us guitarist instant open tunings. Alongside Greg O’Haver, we are offering up TWO DUO’S – The first; Melinda Kay (www.reverbnation.com/melindakay) is an acoustic duo composed of Amanda Armstrong and Randy Nichols. This will be their first Showcase with us. Melinda will be visiting us from the Martinsville/Mooresville area, and have performed together for two years in the ‘Crossin Bridges’ band. Welcome aboard Melinda Kay. ALSO, this evening will be a special program because friends, and Bloomington residents – Jim Krause and Anne Hurley(www.annehurleymusic.com ) will grace us with their beautiful – mostly instrumental songs. Jim playing guitar, mandolin, violin and Anne adding her magic to the mix with her beautiful cello work. Ann also sings a song or two and has a way with words with an exceptional sense of humor, the natural wit of Krause & Hurley – make for some fun interaction and songs that break up the standard format of the Singer-Songwriter programs.

The Bloomington Songwriter Showcase is THE place to be on Monday evenings here in Bloomington IN – definitely worth the drive over if you’re in the vicinity.
