Gallery Walk | Live Music | Pop Up Exhibit @ Pictura Gallery

05:00 pm to 08:00 pm
Pictura Gallery @ FAR Center for Contemporary Arts

Join us during Gallery Walk hours for a second viewing of Joshua Dudley Greer’s series, ‘Somewhere Along the Line’ set to live music. The performance will feature local composer and musician Craig Michael Davis on piano, Mike Reardon on electric guitar and John Tadlock on drums.

At FAR during Gallery Walk, there will be a pop up show exhibiting works made by participants in FAR’s Wet Plate Collodion Photography Workshop with Dale Bernstein.

Participants completed a 2-day workshop, learning the process of wet plate collodion photography. Artists learned how to blend their creative ideas with a historic photographic medium.

Historic photographic processes can be fairly complicated to set up, so this is an exciting opportunity to show the dynamic images made from the collodion process that dates back to the 1850’s.

An Important Message from Bloom Magazine

For the past 14 years, we have been publishing Bloom, a free, bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine serving Bloomington, Indiana, and surrounding communities. We have four missions: to support local businesses, local charities, local arts, and diversity. We are an integral part of the fabric of this community.

Like so many small businesses (4 employees), we are facing huge challenges in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to be able to continue producing the magazine and our website, magbloom.com, but we need your help.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe drive using the link below. Thank you!
