To Everything Thing, Turn Turn Turn a Denonstration by Max Monts at The Venue

05:30 pm to 07:30 pm
The Venue Fine Art & Gifts, 114 S. Grant

On Tuesday, beginning at 5:30pm, The Venue will host a demonstration of wood turning by Max Monts. Max, a long time Bloomingtonian, was one of the founding members of Bloomingfoods, and later enjoyed a full and rewarding career as a teacher at Clear Creek Elementary School. Since his retirement, Max has devoted full attention to his first passion, woodworking. Over time his focus centered on wood turning, and the results are impressive indeed, beautiful, functional bowls, wine bottle stoppers, handcrafted pens, and more. Max will actually move his lathe to The Venue, and show us how the work is done.
Refreshments will be served, and our fine selection of paintings, jewelry, ceramics, and artistic gifts will be on display for purchase. Free parking is available in the lot at 4th and Grant. Wood chips will fly. Join us.

Cost: Free
