Just out from IU Press is a most unusual offering, Campus Canines: The Dogs of Indiana University. The book features 156 color photographs of the most handsome hounds ever to roam the lawns of old IU.
Students, staff, and alumni submitted photos of their pets to a contest website. Nearly 5,000 animal lovers then voted to determine which dogs would make it into the book, according to an IU Press spokesperson. Campus Canines, which sells for $20, went on sale in bookstores and online beginning March 30. The editors of Bloom selected these pups as their favorites.
