Impeachment of an American President, How Can it Work (Why isn’t this man smiling?)

05:30 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue

As an art gallery, we at the Venue do not advocate political positions, but as a part of our Bloomington community, we do accept an obligation to provide useful information to better allow all to understand what is transpiring and where it may lead.

We all hear the term impeachment and understand that, in general, it is a legal mechanism to remove a public official. But where and how does it begin, how does it work, and what are the contemporary prospects? Who decides and by what percentage of votes?

On Tuesday, April 24 at 5:30 p.m., The Venue will host a presentation by the most competent legal experts we can assemble who will address all of your questions. We believe that it is important that we all fully understand what may be ahead for our nation.

An Important Message from Bloom Magazine

For the past 14 years, we have been publishing Bloom, a free, bimonthly cultural and lifestyle magazine serving Bloomington, Indiana, and surrounding communities. We have four missions: to support local businesses, local charities, local arts, and diversity. We are an integral part of the fabric of this community.

Like so many small businesses (4 employees), we are facing huge challenges in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to be able to continue producing the magazine and our website, magbloom.com, but we need your help.

Please consider donating to our GoFundMe drive using the link below. Thank you!
