Benefit Painting Sale for Artist Galina Herndon

06:00 pm to 07:00 pm
The Venue

Galina was born and trained in Russia, married an American, and now lives in Roswell, Georgia, just outside Atlanta. Through her art, she helps support her two daughters and her entire family. Her financial life as an artist is not easy, but she is resilient, optimistic, and tough. These qualities show through in her art.

Special circumstances afford special opportunities. A few weeks ago, in one of those freak cold weather events that disrupt traffic in Atlanta, Galina had an auto accident. Although not physically injured, her car was totaled. She did not recover enough funds to replace her car due to her language challenges and some unscrupulous insurance adjusters. Her car is critical to creating her art and attending art fairs during the upcoming outdoor season.

The Venue is assisting her efforts to replace her car by offering a 25% off discount on all of her work presently in our collection, including prints. We will host a reception for this sale on Friday, January 12, begining at 6 p.m. Follow this link for free parking options near The Venue: https://bloomington.in.gov/transportation/parking/downtown-parking.

We look forward to hosting you Friday!
