A Showing of The Paintings of Galina Herndon at The Venue

05:00 pm to 08:00 pm
The Venue

Welcome to 2018, and a special Gallery Walk Showing of the paintings of Galina Herndon, at The Venue, On Friday, January 5th, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Over the years The Venue has formed special relationships with many fine artists, but non is more special than our ongoing relationship with Galina Herndon.

Many of you may know her from her participation in the Fourth Street Fair, or from several showings of her paintings at The Venue over the last ten years, but for those have not met her, a little background.

Galina was born and trained in Russia, married an American, and now lives in Roswell, Georgia, outside Atlanta. Through her art, she helps support her two daughters, and her entire family. +Her life as an artist is not easy, but she is resilient, optimistic, and tough. These qualities show through in her art.

Special circumstances afford special opportunities. A few weeks ago, in one of those freak cold weather events that snarl traffic in Atlanta, Galina had an auto accident. Although not physically injured, her car was totaled, and because of her language challenges and some unscrupulous insurance adjusters, she did not recover enough funds to replace her car.

Her car is critical to creating her art and attending art fairs during the upcoming season.

The special opportunity afforded to you is that to raise necessary funds, Galina has authorized us to offer all of her paintings and geclee prints in our possession at a whopping 25% discount. If you have long admired her paintings and just could not afford one, this is your chance. And please do not feel that you are taking advantage of her misfortune. If you buy a piece of her art, you will be aiding her recovery.

For Gallery Walk we will serve our regular fair, gourmet soup and other treats. Our complete collection of Galina Herndon paintings and other art will also be on display for purchase. Help us help Galina, so we will be able to see her in Bloomington at this years Fourth Street Fair.
