Overcoming Depression

Depression is a painful state of mind that is typically characterized by feelings such as sadness, discouragement, hopelessness and/or inadequacy. By understanding the underlying causes of depression, you can skillful means to oppose it and work towards bringing a change of mind that is more balanced and happy. Join us for this encouraging meditation half-day course and learn how you can begin to overcome your depression. Includes guided meditations, teachings, and time for questions and answers.

Light refreshments will be served on the break. Everyone is welcome!

Cost: $15 pre-registration, $20 at the door. Student rate: $10

A faculty/student ensemble from the IU Jacobs School of Music features music from around the world. Starring Daniel Duarte and Petar Jankovic.

In early 2017, these world class guitarists wowed Playhouse audiences with their variety of instruments and genres. Their eclectic repertoire ranges from contemporary and Latin Jazz to classical and Spanish music.
