Jill Behrman Color the Campus 5K (JB5K)

Jill Behrman was an IU student and an employee of Recreational Sports. In May of 2000, Jill left for a solo bike ride and never came back. Three years later it was discovered that she had been murdered. In October 2000, the JB5K was created to keep the memory of Jill alive and to bring awareness to issues of violence in our community.
In addition to the Color the Campus Walk/Run, workshops related to assault prevention and will be offered throughout the year. Proceeds benefit the Jill Behrman Emerging Leader Scholarship, personal safety workshops, and Campus Recreational Sports programs for IUB students.
