The Monroe County YMCA has reopened its 2020 Y Membership Financial Assistance application period. Approximately $50,000 in funds are available through July 1 in order to assist prospective YMCA members who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the first round of applications earlier this year, an additional $145,000 was awarded.

In addition to use of fitness equipment, tracks, sports courts, and other facilities, YMCA memberships include health programming like chronic disease prevention and rehabilitation, on-site child care, and Group Exercise classes.

The application extension was made possible through YMCA donors. Learn more at www.MonroeCountyYMCA.org/FA.
