In August, Bloom Magazine’s website, magbloom.com, drew more than 24,000 unique visitors, a new monthly record for the site.

With an increased emphasis on web-exclusive content and local news, magbloom.com is Bloomington’s on-the-go resource for updates on local people, businesses, and organizations.

“With a record number of people visiting magbloom.com in August, we know now more than ever what a valuable resource this site is for our readers, advertisers, and the Bloomington community,” says Editor and Publisher Malcolm Abrams.

Deputy Editor Sophie Bird, who manages magbloom.com and Bloom’s social media platforms, says that viewership has increased steadily while many Bloomingtonians have been spending more time at home. “For Bloom readers, magbloom.com is the best way to stay up to date on stories about Bloomington in between issues,” she says. “Our website is our most direct and frequent communication with our readers, and we’re honored that we’ve been able to provide something valuable to our community during this time.”
