For nearly 20 years, A Fair of the Arts has provided local artisans with a space to sell their wares and network with other makers. On Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market mornings, patrons have traditionally browsed A Fair of the Arts booths outside City Hall.

Now through November 27, A Fair of the Arts has moved online in order to continue sharing the work of these artisans safely and responsibly in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and to make artwork more accessible to patrons who may not have felt comfortable visiting A Fair of the Arts in person this season.

The A Fair of the Arts website categorizes the artists by medium and gives shoppers the opportunity to connect with artists’ online stores and social media platforms. The categories of mediums are pottery and clay; drawing, painting, and photography; fiber arts, glass; jewelry; metal and wood; natural materials such as basket weaving; and personal care products, such as soaps and candles.
