Editor’s note: The following is a press release from Indianapolis-based Indiana Humanities. Bloom has republished it here with minor edits for style and clarity.

Indiana Humanities will offer more than $215,000 in grants in 2021, continuing to provide opportunities for smaller rapid-response funding and larger grants that support innovative and collaborative public humanities programs.

The statewide nonprofit has a webinar online about its offerings and anticipates holding in-person grant workshops around the state later in the year to provide additional information about the grant guidelines and application instructions.

“We know our cultural institutions will need support in the year ahead to continue to bring vital programming to their communities,” says George Hanlin, director of grants for Indiana Humanities. “Our goal is to provide flexible and dynamic grants that help encourage and inspire nonprofits across the state to create engaging and impactful public humanities programs—in person or virtual—for their communities.”
