Sheehey Delivers a Sweet Goodbye on Senior Night at IU

Written by

Will Sheehey

Will Sheehey became one of the Hoosier Nation’s most beloved players during his four-year career at IU. Known for his toughness and intelligence, he embraced the role of being the never-back-down player that fans in other arenas loved to hate. He became an integral cog, with teammates Jordan Hulls, Victor Olidipo, Cody Zeller and Christian Watford, in back-to-back Sweet 16 appearances in the NCAA tournament his sophomore and junior years. Wednesday night, IU fans showered the Florida native with love at IU’s traditional Senior Night. And Sheehey returned the affection in his short but to-the-point farewell remarks.
