Monroe County Civic Theater (MCCT) performed “As You Like It” as its annual Shakespeare in the Park presentation, held at Third Street Park June 1-4.
The show featured local actors Devin May as Orlando, Tayler Fischer as Rosalind, Clare Mattsson as Celia, and Jim Floyd as Oliver. A complete cast list is available on the MCCT website.
The all-volunteer group’s fall production will be “The Odd Couple” (female version) by Neil Simon. Auditions will be held Saturday, July 8, from noon to 3 p.m. and Sunday, July 9, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Monroe County Public Library auditorium. Actors should come prepared with a 2–3 minute comedic monologue. Resumes and headshots will be accepted but are not required. MCCT is also looking for people interested in tech positions.
