After Pandemic Hiatus, Lotus Festival Returns to Enthusiastic Crowds (PHOTO GALLERY)

From September 23–26, the Lotus World Music and Arts Festival brought music from 14 countries to downtown Bloomington. Bloom contributing photographer Jim Krause captured a bit of the fun in this photo gallery.

The Lotus Festival has been a Bloomington staple since it was founded in 1994, and is one of the oldest world music festivals in the United States. It returned this year after a series of virtual performances in 2020 due to COVID-19. Learn more at lotusfest.org.
