Our Carnegie Library is 100! Join us to learn about how Andrew Carnegie got started funding libraries across the country. Librarian Dana Duffy from the Monroe County Public Library will guide us through this amazing history as we celebrate our own building’s history.

If you enjoy learning more about Carnegie libraries, join us August 25 for our HiStory Book Club! This month’s book will be To the Stars through Difficulties by Romalyn Tilghman.

The City of Bloomington and Solar Indiana Renewable Energy Network (SIREN) volunteers are presenting a free solar information program 3 pm, Saturday, July 28 at Bloomington City Hall, 401 N. Morton St.
Learn about performance, cost and availability of solar energy and changes in the new law. The program is open to all property owners in Brown, Lawrence, Monroe, Morgan, Orange, Owen counties.
